The blue brings seems to bring out the brightness of the yellow and orange flowers. Some people collect coins, stamps, hats, cats, you name it. I collect good quotes.

Being Yourself:

“We forfeit three fourths of ourselves in order to be like other people.” – Arthur Schopenhauer

which reminds me of this quote:

“Always be a first rate version of yourself rather than a second rate version of someone else.” – Judy Garland

Achieving:

“The important work of moving the world forward does not wait to be done by perfect men.” – George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans)

“Never doubt that a small group of individuals can change the world, in fact, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead

    Jess –

Keep up the quote posts! I LOVE good quotes and have (too)many quote books on my bookshelf at home :-) I have the igoogle quote of the day gadget and I often tweet quotes that strike me as perfect for my mood at any given time. So keep ‘em coming, please :-) My favorite of the ones you posted today:

“We forfeit three fourths of ourselves in order to be like other people.” – Arthur Schopenhauer

These are great quotes. I came across this site while looking for things to help a close friends. I really enjoy the quote by Judy Garland. It’s absolutely true. Thanks so much for sharing these with all of us.
